ACA Announces a $3 Million Capital Campaign at May Day
On behalf of the Aucilla Christian Academy Board of Directors, Principal Richard Finlayson announced at ACA’s May Day on May 4, 2017 that ACA has begun a three-year $3 million “ACA NEXT” capital campaign to benefit students now and future generations to come.
“One-hundred percent of our board and faculty have committed to supporting this campaign financially,” said Principal Richard Finlayson. “Through their generosity and other faithful supporters, ACA has already received over $475,000 in ACA NEXT commitments. Because of those donations, ACA will accomplish some campaign goals this summer, including installing an HVAC system that will provide heating and cooling in the gymnasium.”
Other ACA NEXT campaign goals include: renovating the gym and lunchroom, upgrading technology, increasing scholarships, providing greater faculty compensation, increasing the endowment fund and, most importantly, impacting more lives for Christ.
“God has called our school to make an eternal investment into the lives of our young people,” said Principal Richard Finlayson. “The ACA NEXT campaign will allow us to broaden and deepen our spiritual and academic impact on our entire school community and beyond.”
Commitments can be a one-time gift or given over three years. ACA accepts cash, checks, stock, real property or other assets. Donors can also give: online here, by mail (ACA, 7803 Aucilla Highway, Monticello, FL 32344) and by phone (850-997-3597). Another way to give is by sharing this opportunity with others.
“Our Board of Directors constantly strives to make ACA the best school it can be,” said Floyd Faglie, Alumnus and Board Vice-Chair. “What we do now determines the future for our children and community.”
