ACA Alumna Publishes Third Book in Series
Aucilla Christian Academy 2008 graduate and author Rebekah Aman Griffin recently released the third book in her fantasy series, Keepers of the Essence. She began writing her first book when she was just 15 years old as a student at ACA.
“All of my teachers [at ACA] inspired me, especially my third grade teacher, Mrs. Aman [her mother],” she said smiling. “Mrs. Roccanti was also a wonderful influence, and I really appreciate all she did for me in the library. Because I got to know all the teachers well, whether they taught me or not, due to my mother being a teacher, I feel that each one helped me in some way, shaping my mind and helping me to see things from another point of view, which is exactly what is needed when creating characters… Aucilla was a wonderful environment for me to grow, and the fantastic people there are still encouraging me in my endeavors even though I am no longer a student.”
Griffin is a 2012 graduate of Florida State University with a bachelors of science in dual majors of accounting and psychology and a bachelors of science in finance with a minor in English. She currently works as a staff accountant at Thomson Brock Luger & Company in Tallahassee and resides in Monticello with her husband, Christopher Griffin, whom she married last year.
Tiweln's Redeemer Nature's Lady, Savior of Randor Master of Air, and Faencina's Hope Water's Maiden are all available in paperback on Amazon. The first two books are available as e-books on Amazon as well, and all of her books can be purchased (and autographed) from her directly by contacting her via her Facebook.com/KotEssence page.
