ACA Senior Natalie Sorensen Signs to Play Softball for Pensacola State
Aucilla Christian Academy senior softball player Natalie Sorensen officially signed to play for Pensacola State College on November 29, 2016 at ACA. Sorensen is the daughter of Jeff and Brenda Sorensen of Monticello and has played on the ACA Varsity Lady Warriors softball team since the seventh grade, including being a key leader on ACA’s state championship teams the past two years in addition to playing travel ball with the Tallahassee Merchants and the Wagners.
“In the past 7 years I have watched Natalie grow so much as a person and an athlete,” said ACA Softball Coach Becky Lauth. “She is a phenomenal person and athlete, and has always been a huge asset to our team. I am positive she will do great things at PSC.”
Softball awards Sorensen has received include: ACA’s “Do or Die Award,” Tallahassee Democrat’s All Big Bend two Honorable Mentions, Second Team, and the 2016 Class 2A All State First Team Awards.
“We are so proud of Natalie and all of her accomplishments,” said Principal Richard Finlayson. “We are thrilled she has this opportunity to use her God-given abilities at the next level. I am confident she will continue to do great things on the softball field and in life.”
