ACA's Parent Teacher Organization

(PTO) consists of parents, teachers and administrators working together through volunteering and fundraising to enhance school life at ACA. Please contact any of our officers or coordinators if you are interested in participating in PTO or if you have any ideas you would like to share.

Look for us on Facebook at ACA PTO for the most up to date information.

Some of the things we do as the PTO

PTO Sponsored meals at New Family Orientation and Open House

Father-Daughter Dance– A chance for dad and daughter to spend fun, quality time. Held near Valentines Day

Mother-Son Day– A chance for mom and son to have a fun filled day together. Held in the Spring.

Fall Festival– The biggest event for Aucilla.  Carnival games, inflatable’s, food and prizes. This is an event that you, your friends and family can’t miss. Held in October

Box Tops-  The first week of every month we collect Box Tops.  ACA receives 10 cents for every box top.  Last year we earned over $1,500.

Fundraisers– Every year PTO tries to bring in new fundraising ideas in order to fund various projects.

Community Events– PTO is working to become more involved in the communities of Jefferson, Madison and Taylor Counties to show our appreciation of the support that they give to Aucilla.  If you have any suggestions, please contact one of the PTO board members.

Spirit Sales– PTO sells T-shirts, sweatshirts and other items to show your school spirit at football games.  This year we are trying to recruit more volunteers to help at other sports games.

Hospitality– PTO members provide “Friday Treats” and planning day lunches for our staff as well as supporting our teachers with extra funds for classroom needs. We also provide teachers a birthday gift and new teachers with a welcome gift.

Drug Awareness Week – This week is a commitment to drug prevention and education and a personal commitment to live drug free lives. Last year’s Drug Awareness Week for the elementary students included contests including posters and theme days, a parade, the Jefferson County Sheriff’s office did a canine demonstration, and several FCA members spoke.

Class Parents – A parent from each class will serve as a liaison for their class. We hope to improve communication and participation in projects and activities.
